Product Review: Brooks Blazer by Ascend.

Product review: Brooks Blazer by Ascend.

I was not too impressed by the TMD event this round, there were only a few items which caught my eye and this blazer by Ascend definitely interested me. Here's me telling you the good and bad aspects about the product.

The good:

1. The blazer is incredibly textured as there's one thing which creators like Ascend know is how to "stich" well. The color scheme is great and there's some colors to change the cardigan.

2. The price was pretty good as well which was a whoppin' 289$.

3. Fits perfectly like a glove on my Gianni without the need to play with alphas. Slip on, Slip off. Kudos to the creator for this great mesh!

The bad:

1. The horrible demo. It's 2022, why do creators put annoying and obnoxious signs/logos in their demos like this : https://www.flickr.com/photos/195160362@N06/51925683199/in/dateposted-public/ -> What's the point of even giving a demo if this flashy spinning logo is going to distract me in the process of reviewing it properly? If security is an issue, then why do creators like L&B give out their demos in this way: https://www.flickr.com/photos/195160362@N06/51925685474/in/dateposted-public/ -> Where you know I can actually see the product I'm suppose to be reviewing without any flashy diarrhea on my screen. The demo made me want to buy the product just so I can examine it properly.

2. The design: Why does this blazer need so many giant pockets? It would've been a perfect blazer if it didn't have these oceans for dolphins to swim in.

3.  The lack of shirt color options: There is only one option for the shirt's color yet there are multiple for the barely noticeable cardigan. Is the shirt not important enough to provide options as well? Perhaps we've been spoiled too much by other developers such as Deadwool who give lots of color options when it comes to shirts that I've now been accustomed to such treatment. It would've been fun to mix and match.

Speaking of mix and match, if you do not like the blazer but like the shirt then there's good news. The product comes in three parts consisting of the blazer, shirt and cardigan separately. You can pair the shirt with the Sean jacket by Deadwool like this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/195160362@N06/51925986450/in/dateposted-public/ -> Mix and match different products together like colors. You never know what you might end up creating ;D.

Over all, I wouldn't reccomend this product unless you're into funky designs. But if you want to see for yourself, it's available at the TMD event:
